In the baroque palazzo in fortezza in charming Żagań in western Poland. Our festival is a great fiesta for tango enthusiasts, and this year’s – 5th edition – will last five days!

The host of the festival will invariably be our Partner – Żagań Palace of Culture, which will open its beautiful interiors of the historic Lobkowitz Palace.

Iv has been DJing around the globe for 8 years now. He loves creating a party atmosphere where everyone can have a great time on the dancefloor. His favourite orquestas are Biagi, D’arienzo, Di Sarli, Troilo, Pugliese and Tanturi and his selection are coming mostly from the Golden Age.

ESTEBAN MARIO GARCIA / ARGENTINA, SWITZERLAND
I am originally from Buenos Aires; since 2002, I have been based in Geneva, Switzerland. I took my first Tango steps thanks to the nostalgia for my motherland. Now I share my passion for tango by teaching, organizing milongas, and DJing all around Europe.
LUIS CONO / CHILE, SWEDEN
I am a friend of milongas and Tango in Poland, an admirer of the great Tango Barocco event. I get ready to improvise beautiful tandas directly in the milongas. I enjoy music and I hope you do too.
VINCENT VAN'T LAAR / THE NEDERLANDS
Vincent is a dynamic member of the new generation, who wears many hats as a dancer, DJ, and organizer. Together with his wife Stefania, he co-organizes the Ventarrón Events in Eindhoven, and serves as a dedicated board member of the non-profit Argentine Tango association, Tipo Tango. As a social dancer, organiser and fanatic marathoner he is well aware of the important duty of the DJ to read the room for the required energy and to offer a coherent and flowing transition between the orchestras and singers of the 30s/40s.
MICHAŁ EL MONJE
My dance journey through life has been going on for almost 25 years. I met tango 13 years ago and it absorbed me completely. Since I was a DJ before, I started playing milongas very quickly. I want to share the energy with the dancers on the dance floor, selecting the best tangos from the Golden Age. My favorite choices are Troilo, early Pugliese, and D’Arienzo in all guises.
MONA ISABELLE / GERMANY
For 22 years Mona Isabelle is DJ & owner of TANGOLOFT BERLIN, one of the Europe’s largest Tango Clubs, where every weekend she enchants tango dancers from all over the world with her music, energy and the beauty of the romantic room, plenty of candles, flowers and antique furniture. Internationally, Mona Isabelle is very active, Djing in Festivals and Milongas around Europe and Argentina such as La Viruta, Paracultural, La Catedral… In addition she has been organizing since 12 years the „Contemporary Tango Festival” in Berlin’s Central train station in cooperation together with the contemporary opera house of Berlin.
AYAD ZIA / CANADA & POLAND
Inspired by my love for the dance and music. My playing style and my selection of music is the result of a few years of experimenting. Co-hosting and Djing in a regular weekly milonga and playing in different marathons and festivals made that my selections are based on the feeling what dancers would like to dance to, so I often play a mix: classical tango music performed by new and old orchestras, flowing with energy to have an opportunity to make the best of every milonga.
FRANCISCO SAURA / SPAIN
Francisco is a Milonguero, DJ and organizer of meetings and milongas in Spain since 2004. His music is playful and dynamic. He is an enthusiast who overflows with energy and does not miss the chance to make rich and varied animation out of it. He musicalizer of meetings in Spain and Europe. He is a lover of tango milonguero danced with rhythm and sensitivity. He prefers the orchestras of the 30s and 40s.
BEBA DARKOWICZ / POLAND
DJing is the result of dance and music searches and the needs of people with similar sensitivity. As a woman, she has a lyrical inclination towards beautifully flowing music, but her alter ego serves up an explosive mixture. He likes to surprise musically, checking beforehand if the songs are danceable.
